Colleagues and friends describe me as a visual thinker, but I am also endlessly fascinated by words and language learning. I am fluent in English and Italian, conversant in Spanish, and am currently teaching myself Japanese. When not designing or studying, I can be found in the kitchen cooking, hiking in the woods, or looking for birds in the treetops.
In previous lives I taught architecture and coordinated Senior Thesis at Rensselaer Polytechnic in Troy, NY, and co-designed and implemented an academic program as a Design of Theory Fellow at SCI-Arc in Los Angeles. I have also worked at several award-winning design practices in the US and Europe, including: The LADG (Los Angeles), Second Story (Portland), and Populous (London and New York).
I create digital and physical objects, processes, and environments across a wide range of design disciplines.
